Shaadi Ke Mandap Mein is a laugh-out-loud situational comedy set against the colourful chaos of an Indian wedding—where music, rituals, relatives, and emotions collide.
What begins as a picture-perfect ceremony takes a sharp turn when the bride slaps her brother-in-law, transforming the wedding mandap into a makeshift courtroom. As the "trial" unfolds, guests double up as lawyers and judges, peeling back the layers of hypocrisy, patriarchy, and family politics hidden beneath the sheen of tradition.
Presented by Adakaar Theatre Society, this play blends sharp humour with a powerful commentary on gender and dignity, promising an evening of laughter, relatability, and reflection.
